International Display Systems, Inc. (IDS), a Systems Integration Firm, was founded in February 1982. Our principal business is the engineering, installation, and maintenance of Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS), Public Address Systems (PAS), ADA-Compliant Audio/Visual Wayfinding Systems, and Web-Integrated Solutions for the Global Transportation Marketplace.
IDS is a Specialty Contractor with 40 years of experience designing systems that are unique to each customer’s needs, priming large design-build transportation construction projects, providing specialty systems integration services, and providing 24x7 on-site and on-call support services.
IDS is committed to professional and personal customer service. Our history and success as a company is based upon the satisfaction of our clients. We have retained most of our national and regional clients for multiple decades.
IDS is a financially strong corporation. We have a completely unencumbered $4 Million Line of Credit at Fifth Third Bank and a strong asset base. We also have a $30 Million Aggregate Bond-Rating with the A+ Rated “The Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company.” We also meet and/or exceed all customer General Liability Insurance Requirements, as well as Professional Liability Insurance Requirements.
IDS is a safe corporation. Our EMR ratings historically and for the last three years average 0.84 annually. All our Field Service Managers, Engineers, and Technicians are OSHA-10 Certified.

IDS’ talented staff of program managers, project managers, systems engineers, network administrators, and field service technicians design and certify Division 1-28 plans and specifications. We professionally manage schedules and resources for all phases of construction, with a consistent emphasis and application of program management, safety management, and quality assurance and control. We also provide a full array of efficient and effective preventive and corrective maintenance services for our customers, via our 24x7 help desk and both 24x7 on-site and/or on-call SLAs.
