IDS asked to speak at Digital Signage Technology Summit!

Robert K. Keelor Jr., vice president, International Display Systems, Inc., has been asked to present a case study entitled Virigina Railway Express. Facilitating Wayfinding and Information Delivery: Digital Signage to Keep Passengers Moving Safely and Effectively. The presentation will take place during the Digital Signage Technology Summit, June 16, 2008 in Las Vegas.

Info on the Fast Track: Public and digital signage keep VA passengers ‘in the know.’
For an average daily ridership of 17,000, the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) provides train information for all passengers, including those with sight and hearing disabilities, in compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Accordingly, International Display Systems (IDS), Dayton OH, installed a new Variable Message Sign System (VMS) at the railway’s Operation Control Center in Alexandria VA, and at 18 commuter stations in Northern Virginia and Washington DC.
